Yes! Just finally saw this thread.
Beautiful car Kidd. Really like the color.
Gotta question. I see the other post where you talk about the different plans you have for the car, but did you ever see a 5.0 with the racing stripe kit? If so, did you think it detracted from the look/added to it/neutral? If I eventually end up going with the stang, I'm not really sure if I want the clean look or if that would be something I'd have added. I kinda like the car both ways. Also stuck between grabber blue and red candy.
Of course, I've noticed there's going to be a Boss 302 for 2012, so I'm probably back to square one. Don't know a thing about that model, other than price is between the GT and the GT500.
Congrats!

Thoughts:
The Boss is a FANTASTIC machine. Beefed up 5.0L, CNC'd heads, gas-filled valves, stronger rods, and different intake put the power over the 450 mark. Suspension is amazing and selectable (5 different settings if I recall) with a simple screwdriver. There are 2 models - the regular Boss and the Laguna Seca Boss. The LS Boss is more of a flat-out race/track car with no back seat and extra bracing. Both models are in the low $40's with what I would guess as ZERO wiggle room. They're going to sell at MSRP or above - and I don't think dealers will need to "deal".
That being said, the Boss's lack a couple of the extras that I got on mine (primarily HID lights). No Shaker® 500 Stereo, no leather seats, no power seats, etc. So, it appears to be a trade off between better mechanicals (ie. engine & suspension) vs. better accessories on the GT. I figure with the aftermarket, I can easily match the performance of the Boss (which is just a bit above the GT) and keep all the other parts I like.
I've seen a couple 2010 GTs with the stripe kit and some body add-ons. I originally thought about some of the add-ons (hood bulge, side scoops) but after seeing the car in person, I realized how good it looked without tacking on those extras. Same thing with the stripes. Especially with the color combo I picked out, the car looks SO classy and mean at the same time. I feel the stripes would lessen that. That being said, I think certain stripe/accents could look cool - say a flat-black edge along the hood bulge or even a Boss 302'esq side stripe...but for me, not necessary.
