Speaking of going fast - a few weeks ago I was

I China and took a high speed train from Hangzhou back to the domestic airport in Shanghai. I believe the train was the CRH2C Stage Two, but this is simply going by the speed we hit and the shape of the train.

    Holy.Focking.Fast.Batman

There was a point in time where we pulled us next to the freeway and the perspective relative to the speed the cars was moving on was unreal.

A very cool experience - need to hit that Shanghai mag lev the next time I am there.

    Cheers,
    BN

Is that the one that just broke the speed record?

No, it isn't this one - I *think* the fastest

one there is the maglev, but I thought it was closer to 430 kmph.

Give Frank a minute, he will set the record straight...

With the TGV in France I couldn't even tell what

...the thing was going so fast. Probably sunflowers.

And that was 'only' 300 kph.
