Farting to become a crime...
in Malawi
Really? This is the even remotely important legislation to focus on?

I blasted one on a Southwest flight last year...
it was so bad that other passegers several rows back pushed the flight attendant button. The flight attendant sprayed some air freshener. I was hoping they'd pop the O2 masks.
The lower pressure of the cabin at altitude causes even non-malicious people to rip on planes. The 777's suck cabin exhaust air in at floor level to suck up farts. My fellow passengers on Southwest's 737 weren't so lucky.

ha ha, luckily the plae was nearly empty
one one person to a three-seat row. Otherwase, the guilty party (me) would have been ID-ed.
Based on the flight attendant button pushes, it appears that air flow is forward to aft on a 737.
Hmmm, a smell-o-graph. We'd need units or some kind of index. Maybe the "goatboy atrocious fart index" (GAFI). That one would have been about an 8.0. In boot camp, they made me take ferrous sulfate pills for anemia. Those generated 10's.
