a few here will be interested in this email
author is from the old days. Before the jackasses that tore up this forum. Back when it was just car guys talking about random stuff. Before DLS went haywire (even before DLS was here). He went AWOL a few years ago, and I was trying to track him down to see how he's been doing.

Hi [frayed],
It’s taken me a week to write back to you as I have been conflicted about what my response is going to be and finding the courage to express it.
I am in a place in my life where I do not desire to have any contact with the people from my old life and do not want to talk to you. It’s not a resentment I hold against you, but a choice for me to choose what I believe is best for me today and in the future.
Farewell,
[an original FMJ]

He's now using a new first name (Korean), which may be his actual given name.

I'd guess that as well
* We all know how difficult it is pretending to know everything about everything, so we at Friends of Frank Friendly Threads (FFFT) encourage everyone to help Frank feign mastery of all topics, saving him time to post more great content.
So please, if you plan to post about anything Frank has yet to pretend to be an expert on, do what we at the FFFT do, and use the insert link function above, to save Frank some time on Google, so he can continue to know it all!

I know that I should just let this all go, but I
Are you saying that DLS is Korean? I honestly don't recall a time when he left for a time. I've been around here daily since late 01, was it before that? Someone suggested that DLS was peemer? I don't see that. Peem is not korean, he's Filipino, from AZ not TX.
Is he (DLS) ok, or are you saying he's certifiable? After all of this, I don't think I will chime in again on anything having to do with our antagonists here. That includes 1 who is still here consistently trying to start fights. I am glad that no one is taking the bait.

One of the guys that taught at the track?
I think I can understand... heard he went super religious. I wish him well in whatever he's doing, but he has alot of car talent that I suspect is being totally wasted.

No, just saying he was one of the originals,
*before* DLS broke his track hymen at TWS. Back when Pierre was active in club racing, before Seth went grand am racing, Mel was in Austin. . .
Turns out that the current stage in my old friend's journey has lead him to a cult. He mentioned them about a year and a half ago and was contemplating pledging himself to them.
