How can I change the "Started by" to my author name not my username?

I put my author name in the alias (settings), but when i post, it doesn't affect the "Started by" on the Thread list page. Is there any way to change this without registering for a new account with the username I want?

That's a bug that I'm going to fix late this week or early next week.

I'm having the same issue. When I post a message it shows up as my alias (Dave S.) but looking at the "started by" it shows dsalinas. I've already entered the author alias of "Dave S." and hit "save". Any idea what I need to do to fix this?
