Alan/Charlie......the last upgrade seemed to kill the "edit post" function

If I try to edit my last post just a blank text box opens with no text in it.
Also clicking on a post seems to open the thread in random locations, not at the first or last post entry.

Jim, what browser are you using? Have you emptied your browser cache, emptied your cookies, and restarted your machine?

I'm using IE 7.0 128 bit. (work computer I can't upgrade it)
All that stuff was done over the weekend, I'll do it again.
Didn't have any of these issues last week, thought it might have something with your last upgrade.

I finished the upgrade on Friday so the timing makes sense. Did you try clicking the "Go Advanced" button while editing? I wonder if you'll see different results by using the advanced editor. Also can you try using Firefox? It may be an issue where the javascript now being used.

Does everything seem normal when you write a new post or reply to a post?

I cleared out everything again and got the same results. Now if I click on the "Go Advanced" button I can see my text for about 2 seconds, then the 3 rows of icons appear and cover up the text.
All of the above is when I'm using my work notebook which I use 99% of the time.

I just fired up my desk computer (IE 6.0) and got the same results.
Funny thing is that with my desk computer all of the ads (facebook and links) on the left side of the screen are not there and they are when I use my notebook.

After the upgrade I started getting emails for every post I was involved in. Somehow the Instant Reply by email got turned on. I just turned it off.

OK, I just hit the edit button and there is no text here.
I typed in text and it would not upload it when I hit "save".

Forgot to say I can't use Firefox, this is a work computer that I can't (not suppose to) download stuff to.
IT would be all over me.
