Hi. I did Miller's MAF replacement at their facility in Abbotsford BC on a 92 535i with the ZF auto and 130,000km ... about 70,000 miles. Barely broken in for this car ! I did quite a bit of research, but was pleasantly surpised by their service and knowledge.
    The MAF replacement is fantastic.
Driveability increased with less surging. Off the line throttle response is much faster and the mid and higher range power is smooth, endless and sublime. It pushes you back in your seat and just keeps going. On mountain grades it never drops out of overdrive at legal limits +. So far, no major hit on gas mileage, and it runs a little cooler. Miller tailored the fuel, RPM and timing curves for me. Sadly they also discovered my TPS was no good for WOT (wide open throttle) so I had to get that replaced by someone else as it's a "from Germany part".
The power increases noticably when using higher octane fuel. I can get 94 Octane here - (RON + MON /2)
I retained the stock airbox for driveability and warmup in sub zero climates, however, I understand it has an awesome sound if you replace it with a cold air intake.
Overall, very happy with my little hot rod. Had to warn my wife, however, as she lit up the tires at 40 mph when flooring it, so head up on that.
Any ques give me a shout.

    Cheers.
