    BMW 850 CI door lock assembly

    I'm in need of a driver's side door lock assembly for a '97 BMW 850 CI - door will not open from the outside...opens from the inside only. My local BMW service center says the part must be ordered from Germany @ a cost of $441. Any help/ideas would be appreciated - thanks!
