    East coasters, stay safe!

    I know my five-year old said, "Mommy, everything in my room is wiggly" during the earthquake last week (we definitely felt it in DE) and now the eye of Irene is likely going to pass right over the house. Of course, in typical USAF fashion, I evacuated a jet only to leave the family behind. The TexZan is tucked quietly in the garage where it will hopefully remain safe but right now that's the least of my concerns.

    Stay safe everyone and send your good thoughts and prayers to those out east!

    A friend observed that East Coast storms with 100 mph winds get a statement from the Pres., news updates every 10 minutes, and a name. A West Coast storm with 100 MPH winds is called Winter.
