OEM brakes VS after market brakes

I have an 08' X5 4.8 and this brake dust is driving me crazy!

Is there an after market brake I can get that will reduce brake dust BUT still perform like the OEM's which work very well.

Anyone out there with any experience regarding after market brakes, if you can please let me know your thoughts I sure would appreciate it.

    Thank You
    Jeff

The dust is what stops squeaking... sort of. The reason they put on dusty OEM pads is that the pad dust is not as bad as the problem it solves.

Get the wheels very clean, and then apply a good coat of wax. That will make them easier to clean. Don't stick the used wax pad back in the wax can if you use paste. It will leave brake pad dust in your remaining wax, which will eventualy get ground into your clearcoat on the body.

Sometimes, I like brake dust! I put 3000 miles on my new white M3 before washing it (Spartenburg to Virginia, two weeks of running around there, and then back to Florida). The bottom half of the car was black... what Bangle called "flame surfacing." The wheels were black, too. The care looked menacing as hell.

I clean the inside of my wheels with these little sponges on a stick my wife gets from the OR at the hospital. Doing this leave brake dust impressions of my tire treads on the driveway, which also kinda is cool.
