Can changing the engine air filter make such a difference?
My 2005 Z4 2.5i has 25K miles. According to the OBC, lately I've been getting about 20 mpg in mostly city type driving. This is a drop in mph from around 22-23 mph. I just replaced the the filter with an OEM Mann filter and the mpg has gone up to 24-25 mph. Is this possible, or am I dreaming?
