    Indicator failure

I took my Porsche Cayenne (55) to an the Halfords garage to replace the indicator bulb (week later, it failed again) I took it back and they have told me that the wiring in the back has corroded and I need to replace the entire head light and quoted me 559. Is there any other way around mending this?

First, try cleaning corroded indicator connections, with light sandpaper. Sometimes, the contacts come loose, resulting in "CHECK DIRECTION INDICATORS" screen message. The headlamp is easy to remove, using the trunk tools(next to wheel lock).
