    1993 C4 corvette

Im have a question about my 1993 corvette. I was driving down the road one day in my corvette and it just all of a sudden lost power. I had it towed back to my house and had a Machanic come out and look at it. Him and I decided it was the opispark so we changed it. That didnt help so we changed the coil, egnition moudual, egnition wires, plugs, and put a pressure gadge on the fuel system with key on it is running 46 pounds of pressure. Still nothing motor just spins. Im at a lost on what to do next. Anybody know what it could be?

Do 93 vettes have a OBD (diagnostic) plug? If so, that might be the only way to determine what your problem is. I had a BMW that quit while I was driving. It turned out to be a camshaft position censor which was a simple two foot wire that signaled engine timing. Had I not used the OBD, I would have never known the prob.
Of course I'm not attempting to compare BMW and Corvette engineering; I'm saying if cars are equipped with computers and sensors, you're throwing good money away if you don't use the equipment to test.

I can't believe that no one answered this yet. Yes, all corvettes since Generation C5 have OBD-II ports. You can buy the a code reader for $20 these days. In fact, they are so cheap these days that I just keep on in my glove box. And yes, they can't tell you about purely mechanical things (ie. ball joints) but they will about anything electronic.
