    Smelly air-conditioner ?

Any owners noticed the smelly "gym sock" air-conditioner smell like in the old E39 5-series in the new F10 5-series ?

I'm interested to know if the BMW Engineers designed it out of the new model

    E39 Owner, no smells

I always heard that the key to keeping your car's air conditioner from smelling was to turn it off just before you park the car (say 30 seconds to 1 minute). That is what I do. That should blow out the cold air and stop condensation from occurring in the ducts, but the car's interior won't get so hot that you are uncomfortable.
