    Exhaust upgrade

Hi All, I am looking to purchase a 2013 Corvette G/S convertible when they come out. There is an option offered for the exhaust system. It is called the Duel Mode. It only adds 8hp and the option is $1200. Doesn't seem worth it to me. Is there an aftermarket exhaust system which you would recommend?
Thanks in advance and I'm looking forward to talking with all.
    Sam

Thanks, I'll look into it. I got the Vette 2 weeks ago.

Pretty car. Welcome to the brotherhood.

The exhaust option you're speaking of allows you to idle and cruise quietly and then when you step on it, to move to a less restrictive bypass which is much louder and increases horsepower. It is unique and will not be duplicated with 3rd party exhausts. They may be even less restrictive and better sounding, but they will not provide this dual functionality. Hope this answers your question.

    Don't forget the wave!
