The precinct staff asked me for a photo ID. Oh, the horror! That's racist!

Our county sheriff also rounded up illegal aliens by the bus load. The word got around. If you're an illegal alien, don't come to this county unless you're looking for a free bus trip back to Mexico.

Actually, two seperate incidents. I guess I didn't make that clear.

We had a high rise condo construction boom here before the real estate/stock market crash. Billy Bob was too lazy and afraid of heights to work those jobs. So, we had a lot of illegals come in for the work. After the crash, a lot of them stayed, or attempted to stay. That's when our elected sheriff did his sweeps. The manager of my favorite Mexican restaurant said they raided the big car wash down the street from his restaurant. After that, most of his kitchen staff high-tailed it for Georgia and Alabama.
