    Struggling over high gas prices?

Bill Maher, $1M contributor to Obama's superPAC, has a suggestion for you on Twitter:

    Bill Maher‏@billmaher

#CaliforniaGasPrices: teabaggers who've made fun of my electric car pls think of me when ur in Shell restroom blowing a stranger for gas $

This pretty much sums up how the rest of Obama's (multi-, hecto-, deca-) millionaire Hollywood friends feel about the unwashed gun and Bible toting peasants in the "fly over states."

    Bingo.

I had two brand new hybrids while my cars were in the shop this month. Both of them (Prius V: 51 MPG, BMW ActiveHybrid 3: 34 MPG) were technically amazing. But, like in your cell phone and laptop, those batteries steadily degrade and the cars' resulting efficiency will steadily go down. Also, hybrids have effectively no advantage on high-speed highway driving.

A co-worker has a 2005 Honda Accord hybrid. For years, she was bragging about her gas mileage. She's still on her original batteries, but not bragging much anymore.

Maybe his buddy Obama will have a stimulus program to buy all these hybrid owners new batteries with money taken from the evil one-percenters. I wouldn't put that past him.
