How can I find out what year my car is? Can you back down the VIN?

Realoem.com. Click to enter, then type in the last 7 of VIN. It'll tell you the production code, month of manufacture, and engine type. Since month of manufacture doesn't always equal model year, you might check the label on the inside door frame. I think that may say the year.
