1995 325is how do i remove and replace idle control valve
I have a bad idle control valve. I have removed throttle body and everything else that I think is needed to remove it. I pulled it from below the intake with out pull the intake manifold. I am having problems getting it back in. Can anyone give me some advise??

Idle control valve
You are probably doing it correctly. Replacing the idle control valve on an e36 is like replacing the PCV valve on an e46. Everyone tries it the the first time without removing the intake manifold, (possible, but a PITA) and if they ever do it again, they remove the intake manifold (also a PITA). My only suggestion is small hands and a colorful vocabulary. Any work under the intake is normally done with the cap off the oil filter, but you have probably already done that.
