I have a 100 mile daily commute, and am looking for something that is powerful and comfortable. I have been doing the drive in an 911 Turbo for the last three years (and in an RS4 for three years before that, which I never should have gotten rid of). Anyway, I've been rear ended two times in the last four months, and I'm tired of driving cars that I care (a bit) too much about. Because of this, I've decided to focus on cars that are at least a generation off of the current model, but still very nice. I've been looking at M5's and S600 / 65's, as they have depreciated quite a bit. What I don't know is how reliable the cars are, that were made in the Chrysler years (pre-2007).

I thank all of you in advance for your advice / comments.
