BMW 325i Harness Connector for rear brake sensor

I have been driving my 1989 BMW convertible with a wiring harness dangling near my rear differential. This week I found out the the harness is intended to have a connector that mates with a connector goes to my aft right brake sensor. I did not think that the harness was that important until I was ready to install a new brake sensor. I installed a new sensor that has a male connector that I attached to a clip behind the brake caliper. But since the other end has just two bare wires I am looking for the female connector to mate it to. If it exists on line I would like to purchase it if it is of reasonable cost (under 20). Otherwise I am thinking of cutting off the male connector and splicing it into the two wires from the harness. Of course, I will make sure the wire is attached well to the undercarriage to prevent the same problem again. Any other ideas?
