Item is available unless marked "Sold:"
Thanks for a great forum website. I just signed up today and I messed up. If there's a way to unscrew it and you can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
I was making my post, and I saw I could have a poll and I thought it'd be an add-on but I found out too late that a post is either a poll or an ad, but not both, oops.
So, I'd lost my ad and in the process of trying to get it back, I ended up with two ads. I edited reworded one to make it a question as to who might be interested in the type of part I'm selling but that's not as clean as being able to delete that post. Is deleting it an option? If yes, I can't figure out how so please guide me.
Also, I made a typo in the thread name, and I don't know how to edit that either. I mentioned E23 twice by mistake, oops.
Sorry for being clueless.

You're not dense. :-)
It's an interesting-to-me cultural phenomenon that when we can't use a product that was designed for us as the target audience, most of us tend to think "I'm dumb" as opposed to "this is a dumb design."
Under some conditions, the software allows only the SOLD option even for new ads.
That's why I've prefaced the most recent ads I've placed with "This has NOT been sold as of 2/16/2013 but I can't get the stupid SOLD tag to not be part of this post."
I love Roadfly but this forum needs more official love and attention than it seems to be getting. I'd posted an ad twice and asked how to remove one, and have yet to see a reply. This was 3 months ago.
