2000 M Roadster shocks and brakes

I first joined the forum the first time back in 2000 when I bought the M Roadster. We went on a few of the Hill Country Spring Drives with FredR (miss that guy). Truly enjoy the car. Got involved with the BMWLT forum when I bought a K1200LT. Spent the past 7 years with the motorcycle. Ready to sell it and put new shocks, struts and brakes on the M Roadster.

Looking for suggestions. I usually by my tires at Tirerack.com and they have parts in stock. What would you suggest for struts and shocks. I like a firm ride. I have both front and read Strut braces.

    Thanks,

I put this on my Coupe, got the shocks & springs from TCK: Koni shocks (front - 8641-1342 Sport/ Rear - 8040-1217 Sport) and H&R springs (29520). I also installed urethane subframe bushes from Ireland Engineering and upper rear shock mounts from Rogue Engineering. The Rogue mounts make it possible to replace the shocks from under the car - a very good upgrade. Unfortunately you still have to strip out the interior one last time to put them in. The subframe bushings are difficult to remove. The middle shaft in one of mine pushed out and I had to cut that one out. Installing the strut inserts wasn't all that difficult - adds about 30 min. per side to the job. It made for a long weekend under the car but it sure drives better.
