My mother has been driving a '97 Z3 for the last eight years, but now the ignition switch is acting up. It started last week when I
had a little trouble starting the engine after filling it up with gas. The switch spun a few times until it finally caught and started up.
When I got home it wouldn't turn off, even after I pulled the key out. After a couple minutes, I parked the car in the garage and
stalled the engine to kill it. My dad and I found some helpful youtube videos to show us how to fix it, but now the ignition switch
tumbler node is stuck upside down in the casing and we can't get the tool into it to pull it out. Is there a way to fix it or do we
have to pull the whole assembly out and put a new one in?
