1993 BMW 850 Cia for sale!!!

    Dear fellows,

I know this might not be so relevant for you guys in the US, but if anybody in Sweden/Scandinavia is interested or knows about someone who is interested, drop me a line.

I am selling my Tobago Blue (metallic) 1993 BMW 850 CiA and thought it might be a good idea to first try finding somebody on this board who might be interested. The car has 38K miles on its neck and is very well taken care of. Imported from Germany to Sweden in 1996 and has a total of three owners. Asking price is around $22K-$21K.

If you know anybody who might be interested, drop me a line.

    Best regards,

    Fedde

Yes, I finally found her! With a Hartge H8! ;-)

    Yes Laszlo,

You are reading me right here ;-)

I found a 1994 CSi with just 17K miles and one owner. She has been modified to get a Hartge H8 6.0 liter engine with 430 HP / 610 Nm. According to some other people, this is the first CSi ever imported to Sweden and the one in best shape. After seing the car two days ago I believe it. Didn't believe my eyes when I saw her...

She is not really mine yet. I need to sell my 850 CiA first and fulfill a few other steps in the agreement first...but once I have her I will post pics and more info.

Guess what kind of dreams I have had the past few nights ;-)

    Best regards,

    Fedde

Whhoooops! You are right Carl...I mean to say that Carl helped me find this baby ;-)

To be honest...without Carl I would not have this car by now! Again, this proves the great value of this board!

Thanks Carl! I don't know how to thank you!

    Best regards,

    Fedde

Way to go, Fedde, this is terrific news!! I know you've been on the hunt - good to have Carl as your scout - now Carl will be able to focus his full attention on his Alpina. :-)

Please post all the details as soon as everything's firmed up.

    Fedde,

congratulations! You helped me with some useful tips when I was looking for an 850 and didn't know anything yet. I'm glad to hear you found the car you were lokking for. Sounds like a beautifull car, especially with some low milage. Can't wait to see the pictures.
    Regards,
    Ed.

    Dear Ed,

The car is extremely beautiful and I have tons of pics I took of it when I was looking at it a few days ago, but as the car is still not mine (yet!) I don't want to post pictures yet.

The color of the car is a color which was not available for the 8-series and the owner had to pay extra to get it. It is called Madeira Black, but is a very dark blueish, purple mixture that in my eyes in in level with my love for Mauritius Blue.

Will post pics once the car is totally mine and the deal is done! ;-)

    Best regards,

    Fedde

see in Fun -> Press ...(more)

The third press review on my site is on the birds.uk.com Hartge H8 6.0l , which is currently for sale in England for 19995 .

there are 4 pages of this nice 8 From BMW Car February 1996

notice that hartge didn't wante to put the 850 Csi logo, and simply kept the 850i one
they kept the normal spoilers but added the ///M sided mirrors

It does have 19" HARTGE rims
    Rear silencers
    430bhp Hartge 6.0l V12
    Suspension lowering kit
    Sport rear axle
Switchlogic gearbox controller (THIS IS COOL)

    Then it's not the same...

The article writes about a conversion of an 850i and the one I bought was originally an 850 CSi.

The modifications Hartge made on the CSi I am looking to buy were the following:

    * Upgraded to a 6,0l Hartge H8 with all the modifications it requires.

    * Added 19" Hartge rims with P-Zeros.

    * Upgraded suspension/lowering kit.

When I have more stuff to add and pics I will make sure you are the first one to get this info ;-)

    Best regards,

    Fedde

    thanks THAT IS COOL and...

The review doesn't talk of an official Hartge h8 car

This car was made by birds.uk.com with hartge products, and the shifttronic wasn't made by Hartge but by birds

You're "future" car must be great
Hope you'll be able to get it

By the way, if i can ask, how much does the seller want for this nice e31 ?
