I am considering bying a 1994 525iX/A with 126000 km on it. Can anyone offer any information on this model or know how the 4 wheel drive has held out?
    Any information would be apreciated.

    Regards,

    AWD, much superior to traction.

But it is a 325ix. Seems that the market in the US has decided that it wants less performance and more software stuff(no BMW AWD but you can get traction control)and therefore no 525ix here. My 3 series has 100k miles. Provides all the pleasures of a $30k sport-ute for under $10k( a little less ground clearance though). Bought used at 77k miles. Seems like it ought to go another 100K or so.

    X5 aside,
    Will
