    Anyone race an M10

I own an 84 318, looking for ideas to boost power. I know its not going to have anything worth bragging about, but what can i do?

bore it (get custom race pistons), stroke it (87mm S14 2.5L crank), big-valve it, custom engine mgmt., big Weber DCOEs or custom fuel injection.

how much you wanna spend? that's really your limiting factor. in order to get anything approaching "power" out of an M10, you're going to need to tear it apart, throw money at it for racing parts, and rebuild it. at that point, you might as well start with something with more potential, like an M20 or S14....

Check out GT Technic in walnut creek Ca. They build race race cars that use M42 engines. 250+ HP
