coloring to get that nice dark brown color. Shiner Bock is all hype and marketing, they are taking avantage of the Microbrew phenom, and they are NOT a microbrewery. If you want a true Texas micro-brew look for St. Arnolds, don't know if it's even available outside of Houston.

Sorry, never saw the reason for the St. Arnold's following. Seemed like really mediocre beer. And actually, I don't think Shiner was ever considered a microbrew - they were around way before that term became in vogue, and Miller started making "microbrew".

I'd say we should settle our differences over a case of Celis...but we CAN'T, can we? I'm still chapped about that. I liked that little Belgain guy...
