I've had my 87 535is for 8 weeks. The PO installed solid urethane bushings. They seemed to transfer excessive wheel/road noise and were exceptionally stiff on rough roads. I'm considering 750il bushings and would like to know if the noise transfer and ride characteristics of these bushings is similar to the 535 stock bushings or closer to the urethane bushings? Another piece of information is that I have now decided my right front wheel bearing is bad. This could be where most of my noise was coming from.
