    Bypass radio code

Didn't really see any postings on how to bypass lost radio codes.Since my 735i didn't come with the code I had to get creative.Anyways on my CM5905 model all I had to do was pull the radio, remove one cover, solder 2 points and un-solder 2 points, and voila now I have a working code.Depending on what points you solder the code can be one of 2.This will work on CM5901-CM5908 radios if anyone needs the info.

    Re: radio code

Just thought I'd pass on the info for people not close to the BMW dealer. And if you can solder it's a quick job.

When I bought the car, the original radio was missing, I went to pick-a-part and bought the radio off the shelf. I thought i had a good deal..I do not know what the code is, so i called the BMW dealership in Downtown Los Angeles and they wanted $110 dollars for the code !!! Can anyone help me, because I really can't afford that. Thank You
