same here.. it had been raining and i was looking.

for where the water might have been coming from and notice the A pillar area was wet, followed it up and saw that the window seal was wet and when i poked the seal with my finger more water came out.

Most likely its the cowl drain

located on the firewall right behind the cylinder head/valve cover. A rubber tube that gets clogged with leaves and gunk. Pop it off, clean it out, reinstall and you should be good. It could be the sunroof drain or the heater core, but I'd check this first.

i checked out the sunroof and it only had a few

leaves, dirt, and other crap in there. It didn't look like it was enough to clog it thought because I ran water through it. Anyway, I will have to checkout the cowl drain.

    Thanks,

    Info on cowl drain repair

I had regular water on the passenger side but only after rains. Cleaning that drain took care of it. I had a driver-side coolant leak that was due to a faulty heater control valve (common issue). But you should probably be able to tell it's coolant pretty easily.

2006 Mini Cooper Water in floorboard short out the wiring harness?

My sunroof drain was clogged and water seeped into my driver side floor board. Now my dummy lights are all lit up and my car wont start. Would this be due to my wiring harness getting wet??
