Add to that Georgia, the Carolinas
Virginia, Florida and Kentucky. Don't think Oklahoma would qualify for the South. I think it would be considered in the mid-west. Though FLA is in the southeast, 'us southerners' really don't think of FLA as a 'Southern' state in the traditional sense. But regionally it is included...not a bad thing because of all the world class golf courses there!

I would take exception to that ...
... I live in Orlando and Jeb is a fine executive. As is his brother.

Well technically .....
anything west of the Mississippi is not considered "the south". South is ... south of the Mason Dixon line, east of the Mississippi. And consists of coastal states. West VA is the exception as it is still "legally" a part of Virgina having never been "legally" separated from the parent state.
The confusion arrises when you mix in Confederate War allegiances. Many other states were sympathetic to the Souths stance of States Rights. And therefore found along side of the Southern Confederation of States.

Manning prolly should wear a flack jacket
this weekend. It's gonna be the toughest day of his young career. He can't outrun Spears, Lavilais, or for that matter anyone on our defense. Ouch.
I can't wait. Geaux Tigers!
You still live in BR? I went to LSU for eight years, yep, eight. Lived in the house behind the Chimes for four years. It was stupid fun.

I lived there too.
The Embassy. One spring and summer. No golf course there now, just gameday parking.
Animal House: Zero point zero. Fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son.
I partied hard, but actually got some stuff done. BS in physics, MS in Electrical Engineering. The MS was just because I didn't want to leave. Hadn't found 'the one'. I uped the search and found a perfect girl, that's when I made sure to get my thesis in on time.
Drinking age was 18 when I went, so things are most likely different now.
You still live in BR?
