    JPM

Do you guys think that JPM will really be concentrating on winning in the Willians next season, knowing that he is going to MB team the following year? I wonder what was the real reason he is willing to leave, besides money? Maybe Ralf??

    My feeling

is that he doesn't think he gets a fair shake from the team as long as ralf is there. I guess he's mad about France.

I am happy about it in a way, because as soon as his replacement comes in, and ALSO is faster than Ralf, maybe then they'll dump Ralf like they should have two years ago.

personal feelings aside, why? Ralf's done well

This year he did not get any breaks but he generally outqualified JPM. Not a big fan myself but he had improved.<br><img src="http://homepage.mac.com/booboo/.Pictures/axis.jpg"height=180 width=180>

    True, but

his season still went up in smoke at the end. The shunt a Monza didn't help, but he never seemed to be a factor after that. Certainly a bad break at Hockenheim. Regardless of blame for the accident, he would have been very competitive there. Then he got the bad start and spun at Hungary (didn't he?). Hungary has been hailed as Alonso's race, and sure he won, but if Trulli doesn't hold up JPM, Alonso doesn't win. JPM had many laps faster than Alonso. Don't know where Ralf could have ended up.<br>2002 AW/IR M3/SMG

latest looks like both gone in 2005...

...Williams is not thrilled with either at this point and being notorious cheapskates anyway they will surely try to get a Button or even an unknown as long as they come cheap and trouble free.<br><img src="http://homepage.mac.com/booboo/.Pictures/axis.jpg"height=180 width=180>

I think he\'ll fight hard first half of the season>

and if he's got a shot at a top-3 championship position, he'll fight all the way to the end.
