I am about to put a BMP Mass Air Flow Sensor into my 86 535i. The motor is ported, high flow exhaust and cat, big bore throttle body and K&N air filter, chip, etc...

Have any of you made the conversion from the Air Flow Meter to the Mass Air Flow Sensor? Any comments on performance improvements or tuning tricks?

Oh, I also live at 5300 foot elevation.
