Administrivia: policy on links in posts explained
We have received some questions about what links are allowed in posts on the message board. The answer is that just about any non-commercial link is allowed. You can even have links in your signature to your own site.
We do ask that if you have a link in your signature or in your posts to your own site that you link back to us as a quid pro quo. We are happy for enthusiasts to direct traffic to their own sites from Roadfly, but it is only fair for them to direct traffic back to Roadfly.
To help answer these questions and to clarify what types of links are allowed and what types may be in violation of policy, we have written a Link Policy FAQ which we encourage everyone to read. If in doubt about whether a given link is ok or not, refer to this FAQ. If you still have questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected] to ask anything you like.
