Yes, 4 snow tires on old rims, just bolt them on

Dinan Stage 2 clutch and flywheel, CAI, MAF
front strut brace, exhaust & stage 4 software.
UUC short shifter, CDV delete.
euro AE halogens, clear sides & smoked celis tails.
Handling goodies about to be ordered.

disagree. every bimmer i see, i check out the
wheels, just to see what kind of snows they are running.
i would not say a majority of people run all-seasons. there are a lot of people running snow tires in the Boston area. of course my sampling data is confined within the bounds of Waltham, Newton, Wellesley, Natickk, Wayland, Weston ... where there is a large percentage of BMWs/MB's due to status symbols. The elitists also have common sense the the $$$ the buy a second set of wheels you know.

I disagree too and I see lots of switchers
I switch to snow tires on old non-sport rims to save my style 19's on which I have some nice summer performance tires. I found that all seasons were wrong for the conditions 70% of the time.
All seasons don't bite enough in the snow and they don't grip enough in the dry of summer. Unless of course you are driving your BMW like a girl, then you won't feel the difference.
