Re: What TURBO Trim best suits E-30 2.7 E/I???

what is this turbo for? you mind lag? or you want instant boost? or do you want something that is very smooth and driveable?

The setup I'm happiest with so far is a .48 housing on the exhaust side. Standard T3 wheel clipped 7 degrees. Very very smooth when coming on boost. this fixed all my traction issues.

on the intake side, just match that to whatever best suits the boost you want to run. I'm now using a T04E 57 trim compressor in a .50 A/R housing for my cold side. I've since turned the boost back down though, so a T3 super60 would actually best suit me at the moment. I'm too lazy to swap turbos again.

I hope that hartge chip is very conservative with the timing. You might be better off with the stock chip.

What boost level are you at?

Also what motor combo are you running?

    Thanks for the reply!

Re: I Pistons, E Pistons or Custom?

I'm currently using e pistons. my super e bottom end (from a junkyard) ended up being junk. had likely been run without oil. bearings were gone and crank was scored. I'd rather be running the super e pistons.
