Any advice for placing an ad in EBay Motors

this is the Ad i am going to place, any comments or suggestiones welcomed
    (Thanx Varsity)

2002 BMW M3, 06/02 production date. Steel Gray over Gray leatherTitan Shadow Trim, 22,000 one-owner miles.

Options: 19" wheels, Xenon lights, Navigation system, Premium package (supple
leather and sunroof), Width-Adjustable Seats with Lumbar Support, Rear Seat
Airbags, and OEM Euro bumper (no orange reflectors).

This car has a standard six-speed manual transmission, not an SMG automatic
    gearbox.

The car has been garage-kept all its life, has no collision history, no
paintwork, and no swirl marks. It is in PERFECT condition inside and out.

As is typical of M3 S54 engines, the one in this car failed early January of 2004
and was promptly replaced under warranty with a brand-new 2004-spec engine by
Braman BMW of Miami, Florida. Braman also replaced the clutch, induction
    system, exhaust system, and radiator.

The car carries the balance of its 3/36k bumper-to-bumper warranty, as well as
    its extended 6/100k powertrain warranty.

See the following website for more photos:
    http://www.fiu.edu/~aesco008/advertisment%20pics%20web%20site/
    More pictures available upon request.

    Asking price is $49,000, negotiable

    Shouldn't it read:

The car carries the balance of its
    3yr/36k Free Maintenance
    4yr/50k bumper-to-bumper warranty
as well as its extended 6yr/100k powertrain warranty.

I wouldnt buy the car b/c its overpriced

49K seems kinda steep to me, especially for a car whose engine has been replaced. (From a buyers perspective, the price would turn me off right away, even if you are high balling it so you have room to negotiate)

Considering sticker on the car is only $48K, price seems kinda ridiculous. At that price range, a few more grand would get you a new M3 w/ options.

    Just my opinion.

i wish that was the sticker....

in your opinion it might be overpriced but not according to Edmunds and the other used car sites....

and those prices are for cars in outstanding condition, My car is in immaculate conditions....no swirl marks or micro scratches....and a new engine that you know has not been beat on and new clutch.....

ADD $1,175 for the OEM 19"...for some reason edmunds does not have them as an option for 2002 but does for 2003 as seen below.

You need to be realistic regarding price...

...I've also got a 2002 Steel Grey coupe with 23,000 miles, so I'm not trying to put you down...but if I were to sell mine today, I'd ask $42k and be happy with a sale price of $40k.

I also wouldn't mention "no paintwork" since you obviously have had a body panel replaced...as a buyer, such a contradictory statement would turn me off. Just say "no accidents" or something to that effect.

Edmunds is not much off but ...

are you a dealer?? can buyer get financing through you?
    no and no.

that's why you see that $k difference between private party sale and dealer sale. you are selling as private party, you can't get dealer retail price for it.

anyway, if you meany ebay motor as in auction, you won't sell it, but it's your money to try.

yeah but there\'s a bunch of cars online..

that will prompt them to overlook yours.. a quick search find this.. and there's probably a few others.

    2003 M3 SMG, 19"... 8k miles at $49k. 1 year newer, no engine replacement, 14k less miles..

so if you replaced your OEM bumper with a European

bumper with a European bumper that was painted literally in the exact same facility at the factory in germany where the original car was painted you would consider the car to have had paint work....
