    76' ITB 2002

Just bought a 1976 ITB 2002 and was wondering what is the safe redline on the car? Also, any weak points that should be addressed? The motor is freshly rebuilt to the limits of ITB.

    TIA.

Safe for that car should be around 65-6800 RPMs

where are you located? If you're in SoCal I have

the perfect 2002 guru who likely knows more about the car than the people who designed it at this point. He maintains a fleet of ITB 2002s.

I am located on Long Island. Do you have an e-mail address, number, or a website for this gentlemen?

Right about now I am envious of your weather and the ability to race ALL year round!!!!

    Re: 76\' ITB 2002

Their little bookmark website address here lists their number. Ask for Tom Cleave, but if he's not available the other guys are very, very knowledegeable about the 2002 so you can ask them.
