The premium sound system in the Z4 is a Carver system not Harmon Kardon. The 3.0 comes standard with the premium stereo and the DSP is also standard with and without NAV.
I suppose you don't have time to read the owners manual so look on the face of the radio, on the left hand side you see a music symbol button (between the clock and + buttons)press that a few times until you see the DSP letters. Then use the + button to change the choice of jazzclub, church, concert, or off.

Press the mode button
If it cycles all the way -bass, treble, balance etc and you don't see DSP options then you don't have it. If you do see them - you do.

DSP or no DSP
I have the 03 Z4 3.0 and it has the amp and CD changer ect. But no button that says DSP??? how do i know i have DSP??
I read the one list of messages but it seems Vague...
There is no DSP button but i do have the musical note button that changes to different options of sound like Rock, church ect...
