Yes
I doesn't seem that 'big' to me anymore. Sure it's just a tick over 19.5 feet long with the brush guard, but is so much easier to drive on the smaller, older roads around here then any of the Ford trucks I've tried. It's been upgraded slightly to make it a little better for it's "urban assault" duties: Upgraded brakes, SS lines, ATE Superblue, Rancho adjustable shocks, 17" (much lighter) wheels...it goes and stops well, handling sucks. But the road humps can be taken at any speed (about 35 seems to be best, but 50 doesn't seem to bother the truck one bit). It's the polar opposite to the M5, but I don't worry about potholes, bumps, curbs, Geo Metros, etc when I'm driving it and so far in 60K miles I've not been to break it and I don't speed quite as much in it :)
BTW: the truck looks incredible right now. Maybe better then the day I picked it up 5 years ago. I'm trying out a new Zaino alternative called Tropi-care. This product was developed by a chemist at the direction of Steve Paztor and Curtis McConnell. Steve is the old local Zaino distributer and Curtis is my detailer (he's the best I've ever used, period). I highly recommend giving it a try.

Great vehicle considering the nasty potholes here.

I think so...
I'm ready for something new as daily driver but I really like the truck since I don't really care if anything happens to it. I just can't make up my mind on what it's replacement should be. I don't really need a truck and I'm kinda all over the map...my only requirement is that it be an automatic (one manual vehicle is enough around here).
Here's what I'm mulling over:
99-02 SL500 (I've ruled out an older E500)
Used 996 Cab tip
Current LS430
Current LX470/Land Cruiser
Land Rover Series III Disco
Toureg
2001 740i
used Boxster S Tip
used A8 4.2
New Ford F150
I'm really leaning toward the SL500, LX470/Land Cruiser and F150 right now. My father has a decent '97 SL I could buy cheap once he gets an '04 SL, but I'd rather have a newer sport package car with lower miles.
BTW: My current truck now qualifies as the vehicle I've owned the longest (I don't count my Corvette since I didn't buy it and it's currently not in running condition). It's not the highest mileage vehicle just yet and I doubt I will keep it long enough to get over 80K.
