maybe not correct forum, but driving classes?
Sorry, I am a newby to driving classes so I apologize if I am using the wrong forum.. but Summit Point has a driving class (not raceing class but driving class) in May and Hoosier BMWCCA has one outside of Indy in April. I figure this is what I need to do in that I have never had a driving class. Suggestions/ Comments? I am a BMWCCA member and I would like to take some sort of driving class on a track. Who knows.. if I like it I would be interested in taking more and then eventualy do races..

Look to you local BMW CCA.
They should offer a few HPDE / HPDS (High Performance Drivers Education / School) each year.
It's not a racing school. They focus on control.
Great fun.
If you do it be prepared to become addicted!

CarGuys, Summit Point, Mar 6-7
Come on out! there's still room. There's usually a lot of BMWs if that matters to you, and quite a few instructors that drive BMWs too.
The driving school that Summit Point puts on is OK, but CarGuys is better. Besides being 2 days, you will get more track time per day and the instruction is better.
