I\'m interested more in Calgary...
so we can do a bit of driving up thru the mountains. My e30 hasn't gotten to experience any of those great scenic places, as it was in the shop getting the shifter rebuilt, so i had to rent a Hyundai Accent, and take that up thru the mountains.
Edmonton's nice too, esp cause I met some great ppl. when I bought my e30 up there. But i still am partial towards Calgary thoBest way to describe the e30:

what are you sportin Spencer7?
as in what kind of car....
I feel as though I'll feel left out with my old 88 BMW. Do you guys think I should worry about being "left out" for not having a newer BMW? and as a result, choose the Edmonton drive instead?
I'm esp interested in Calgary, since I really like Calgary, and would not mind visiting the mountains (Banff), and hopefully Jasper too, as I've never been there b4. I'tll be a great exp. wiht my lil' e30 too

Whoa!!!!!! No new BMW here!
Your car is newer than mine!!!!!!
I have a 1983 733i with a 3.2L Euro spec engine, lowered, BMW style 29 crosspokes, and soon to have a 5spd conversion done, here's the pic, its the only blue 732i in all of Alberta:
I am looking forward to seeing everyone this summer at Tunerworks!
PS- all the bimmers I've owned have been older that 1984: I've had a 1981 728i, 1979 732i, and my current 1983 733i.

Re: what are you sportin Spencer7?
Stanford, don't worry about feeling left out with your E30.
We are hoping to have 6 or more members of our Alberta '02 Owner's Group show up with their '02s.
What drive are you referring to in Edmonton. I am in Sherwood Park, and always looking for an excuse to go on a drive!

Re: sheesh! that's a beauty...
Tunerworks is hosting the event.
In response to your post about accomodations, I am not sure where most people are staying. I am going to be driving down Saturday morning and most likely heading home the same day.
Try the ********** website, and you will get more response for accomodations, caravans etc:

She's good from far, but far from good!
I need to polish her up and remove some tree sap, and work on the rear bumper (hit and run), but thank you for the compliment! Actually the colour is Baltic Blue Met. but I added a bit more grey to the colour, so it is kind of "Blue dolphin" as I tend to tell people!!
Just as Don said, Tunerworks is a tuning shop in Calgary who is hosting the event, so come on down!
Just watch out for the sharks!

Re: She's good from far, but far from good!
try using methyl hydrate for tree sap... just make sure not to rub it in too hard, let the product do the work
i noticed ur car parked behind the dealership all the time over the summer while i was working at 2clean detail shop. maybe u saw my roughed up 535i? lol, at the time the exhaust had just fallen off and sounded like a beast of a muscle car
nice looking ride *thumbs up*
