<b>TURNER MOTORSPORT ANNOUNCES 2004 TOURING CAR PROGRAM
Drivers’ Champ Auberlen, Marks and Crescentini To Drive

NEWBURYPORT, Mass. (Feb. 26, 2004) – Turner Motorsport announced today that it will field a three-car team for the upcoming 2004 SCCA SPEED World Challenge Touring Car season led by defending series Champion Bill Auberlen , of Rolling Hills Estates, Calif. Justin Marks , of Chico, Calif., and rookie of the year contender Dino Crescentini, of Malibu, Calif., also join the team’s lineup.

The decision to return to Touring Car is a major expansion of the Turner Motorsport team, which is also racing BMW 330s in Grand Am Cup. Will Turner will be the team principal, using his six years of Touring car experience to call the shots from behind the pit wall.

“Last year was the break-out year for us as a team,” Turner said. “We think our preparation and equipment was above par compared with anything else in the field. And, we’re taking what we learned in ‘03 and building on it for ‘04. Bill Auberlen has been eager to defend his title since his final victory lap last year in Puerto Rico . I will be driving in Grand Am Cup this year, which allows me time during the Touring Car weekends to strategize our line of attack.”

Last season, Auberlen piloted the Turner Motorsport/H&R Springs BMW 325i to four wins (Sebring, Road Atlanta, Infineon Raceway and Puerto Rico), eight podiums, 10 top-five finishes, started from the pole three times and set seven fast race lap records en route to winning his first SPEED Touring Car Drivers’ Championship, which he clinched with two races remaining. His impressive run through the SPEED Touring Car season also resulted in him helping BMW capture the Manufacturers’ Championship Presented by Racer Magazine.

Auberlen will carry the Champion’s No. 1 for the 2004 season.

“I am happy to be back to defend the championship,” Auberle n s aid. “I really enjoy running with the Turner Motorsport team. With the work and development that we have done over the winter, we will have plenty i n s tore for 2004.”

Marks joins the SCCA SPEED Touring Car Championship after having competed in SPEED GT the past three seasons. In 2003, he recorded three top-five and eight top-10 finishes driving a BMW M3. Marks has a career-best finish of third, and will pilot the No. 2 Turner entry.

A Trans-Am series and vintage racing veteran, Crescentini enters his first season of SPEED Touring Car competition and hopes to contend for Rookie of the Year honors in the No. 3 entry along-side nearly 15 other rookies.

The SCCA SPEED World Challenge Touring Car season will make its first standing start of 2004 at Sebring International Raceway for the fourth-consecutive year as part of the 52nd Mobil1 Twelve Hours of Sebring week March 17-19. In 2004, the series will visit Lime Rock Park , Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Infineon Raceway, Portland International Raceway, Mosport International Raceway, Road America , Road Atlanta Motorsports Center and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
