Champion mastered the art of managing their way to the championship. They strung out their development program and didn't win until the second to the last race of the year. Consequently, they never ran into the SCCA base weight adjustment. This year along with last years M3's they'll have the radically modified Cadillacs to deal with and the Monaro/GTO.2002 AW/IR M3/SMG
