    o-ring head pic

    Does anyone have a pic of a cylinder head that has been o-ringed? Thanks

    Here they are (almost)

    Go to the picture gallery. Click on e23. Check out the forum of " "O" ring procedure". The pics you see are of the block (which is "O" ringed) and the head, which has a receiver groove. There is no "O" ring in the head, because this particular block and head were fitted for a copper head gasket.

    However, if you were to "O" ring just the head for use with a composition head gasket, you would perform the same procedure I had done to this block, except on the head.

    Everyone sufficiently confused yet?

    Let me know if yoiu have questions. Actually, I do have a bare head up at the shop that is "O" ringed which I used with a composition head gasket. Sometime in the next week or so, I might have time to go snap a pic and post it.
