Re: 320i conrod and crank sizes?

The stroke of the 320i M20 in Haynes (e21) is 66mm (c/w 76.8mm for the 323i). I cannot help with the rod length except that the 325 rod length is 5.315” (Rod Big End Bore 1.890”, Rod Big End Width .858” and
    Wrist Pin Dia .866”)

BMW usually retain the same conrod and juggle stroke with pistons. For example, all M10s and M30s have the same conrod. It seems that the S50 has the same size rods as the 325 and that the M42/M44 rods are the same size except for a rod length of 5.512"

It is unlikely that BMW would have used the 325 sized rods in the shorter stroke (by almost 10mm) 320i.

    cheers
