I guess Schumi's qualif lap in Malaysia....
...pretty much defines why the man is #1. That was an amazing lap!.
Weber was great too, he nailed that last corner and showed smarts by being the first guy to just go straight and take a shorter line to the finish.<p align=center>

I do not understand why so many drivers...
...choose to fade across the track after the last turn in qual. You'd think that being an F1 driver they'd know the shortest distance....it amazes me. It's not a matter of the track being dirty...I think Schumi and Webber proved that. Am I missing something else?

if you were doing more than one lap....
that would make sense since it's the racing line....but for qualifying? tells me something about those two!
Also it was great to see Alonso's lap from the in-car. When he got to that second monster ess section he went in without lifting!. I thought, wow no lift? hmmm I wonder if he's going to....make it.....not! Oh well at least he tried!
Finally the new TV direction rocks! finally you can see the cars in relation to the track and the corners.....FINALLY!
