    Schrick 284 Degree cam question

I've just rebuilt my entire engine including turbo charger. I used a stock lower end big 6, am runn ing 10psi boost, and had my engine compression lowered to 8:1. If I use A schrick cam, will my pistons strike valves? A schrick has a longer throw right? Or Should I use a stock Cam? Thanx-Kurt

Stock cam is best. 284 has to much overlap>>>

Dude don't take this the wrong way. Buy a book and read and all these questions will be answered. There are a few that come to mind. For easy comprehension use Maximum Boost. Next I would get Turbocharging by HP books. Good stuff and they cover everything you will need. Usually the "squish" dimension of the piston is not changed. They just dish the piston face. So if that is the case you will not have a problem.
