Stupid ?: Is this event for \'regular\' car people?

Sounds REALLY interesting (fortunately I am NOT an uninterested significant other) but DH was wondering if this event is geared toward dealer service techs or if 'regular' car nuts are welcome as well.

I noticed the FAQ says that the tech sessions are geared for all levels of enthusiasts but was wondering if past crowds have been made up of a good mix of people.

Now just to talk him into going!~+~+~+~+~tgirl~+~+~+~+~

This is for everyone interested in BMWs

About the only people who wouldn't enjoy the shop are the ones who only buy a BMW to have a Yuppie icon in their driveway. These people are probably not BMW CCA members, and/or have never attended any of the CCA functions.

If you would like to know more about your vehicle, as well as BMWs in general, you should attend. I'm no mechanic, but I enjoy turning a wrench on my babies. I wouldn't miss this opportunity for the world!

How often do you have a chance to meet people like Ray Korman, Tom Millner, and Pete McHenry?

    Cheers!

Would love to talk to David Hobbs

Hearing him do the F1 races is just great - even tho he sounds like he's hit the bar just before coming on the air...hmmm...~+~+~+~+~tgirl~+~+~+~+~

Re: Stupid ?: Is this event for 'regular' car people?

We really tired to gear it to all levels of interest. From how to wax a car to rebuild an engine. Reston Town Center is really a nice area. Each session will be 50 minutes. A lot of information will be covered.

Tech Session speaker backgrounds have been added to the website.
